Perchè scegliere l'accumulo di energia?
Abbinare un sistema di storage al proprio impianto fotovoltaico domestico consente di raggiungere un livello di indipendenza energetica pressoché totale: in alcuni casi in cui la connessione alla rete elettrica risulta complessa o tecnicamente impossibile, il sistema fotovoltaico  con relativo accumulo può addirittura rappresentare la migliore - se non l'unica - soluzione percorribile!
Inoltre, anche per impianti connessi in rete, l'accumulo consente di utilizzare direttamente l'energia prodotta dal proprio impianto anziché cederla in rete, con un risparmio economico interessante (prezzo dell'energia 20 centesimi - contributo di scambio sul posto 5 centesimi!)
Il sistema di accumulo consente di incrementare in modo significativo l'autoconsumo di energia passando da un 30-35% medio per un impianto connesso alla rete fino a circa 80% per i sistemi con accumulo.
