Questa lampada ha una potenza di 2 Watt ma illumina come una lampada tradizionale alogena da 15W.
Grazie ad una bassissima emissione di calore, queste lampade vantano un'altissima efficienza e una vita media di 50.000 ore.
La loro installazione è semplice in quanto, non essendo polarizzate, possono essere collegate in qualsiasi verso.
Possono essere montate all'interno delle cappe o portalampade di casa (ovviamente sostituendo il trasformatore con un alimentatore 12V dc).
