Il SunSwitch può anche essere utilizzato con relè appropriati per accendere un gruppo di alimentazione di rete per fornire una fonte di alimentazione costante in applicazioni di pompaggio in cui i requisiti di portata minima devono essere soddisfatti 24 ore al giorno. Un esempio di ciò sarebbe per le piscine commerciali in cui è richiesto un ricambio costante di acqua 24 ore al giorno. Il SunSwitch attiverà un alimentatore quando l'energia solare non è sufficiente a fornire la portata d'acqua richiesta
