Il kit consente di attivare una pompa di potenza max 35W (non inclusa nel presente kit) per un utilizzo di 8-10 ore solo di giorno -preferibilmente dalle 7.00 alle 17.00 - con orario di accensione programmabile tramite timer digitale in modo da sfruttare al 100% l'energia solare e non utilizzare quella in batteria (al fine di allungare la vita utile della batteria stessa: meno si usa e più tempo resta carica maggiore sarà la vita utile).

Sono possibili accensioni serali occasionali di 3-4 ore che chiaramente avvengono totalmente tramite la batteria producendo quindi una scarica della stessa fino al 50-60%.

Il pannello solare va posizionato in pieno sole, piuttosto orizzontale (inclinazione 10-15° ) per ottimizzare il funzionamento nei mesi estivi.

Il kit può essere completato con alcuni utili accessori come il sistema di fissaggio del modulo fotovoltaico (che varia a seconda del tipo di installazione che si intende fare (montaggio su terreno oppure su palo oppure su tetto spiovente, etc) o un armadio metallico per contenere e proteggere la batteria e l'elettronica.
