PRINCIPALI APPLICAZIONI
Autovetture, accessori per automobili e camper, antifurti per auto, frigoriferi per camper e barca, montacarichi, protezione batterie, impianti solari.
I fusibili sono utilizzati per proteggere i circuiti elettrici ed elettronici da eventuali guasti dovuti a sovraccarichi o cortocircuiti.
Sono provvisti di un sottile filo, che si fonde rompendosi, quando vi passa una corrente superiore a una certa soglia, bloccando di conseguenza il passaggio di corrente e interrompendo cioè il circuito, per evitare danni più gravi ad altri componenti.
In altre parole, il fusibile si guasta per evitare che si guastino componenti più costosi come regolatori di carica, inverter o batterie.
