Il Battery Balancer equalizza lo stato di carica di due batterie a 12V connesse in serie o di più stringhe di batterie in parallelo collegate in serie.
Quando la tensione di carica di un sistema di batterie a 24V sale a più di 27V, il Battery Balancer si accende e confronta la tensione sulle due batterie collegate in serie.
Il Battery Balancer assorbirà una corrente fino a 1A dalla batteria (o batterie collegate in parallelo) con la tensione più alta. Il differenziale di corrente di carica risultante garantirà che tutte le batterie convergeranno allo stesso stato di carica.
Se necessario, diversi Battery Balancer possono essere messi in parallelo.
Un banco batteria da 48 V può essere bilanciato con tre Battery Balancer.
