L’Electronic Switch è un interruttore elettronico che può essere utilizzato al posto del D+ dell’alternatore.

 l segnale D+ dell'alternatore viene normalmente utilizzato per l'attivazione di quegli apparecchi, come i Dc-Dc, che devono entrare in funzione solo a motore acceso.  Tuttavia, questo contatto spesso non è accessibile nel veicolo, non è più disponibile negli alternatori più recenti, non può essere utilizzato adeguatamente nei veicoli Euro 6 e 6+ o non è disponibile in una cellula camperizzata.

Tramite NDS Electronic Switch è possibile simulare il contatto D+, e a seconda del variare della tensione della batteria motore, si attiva o disattiva un contatto con una isteresi di circa 500mV.

L’Electronic Switch è un dispositivo che permette l’accensione del Power Service quando su l'alternatore non è presente il contatto di D+ e può anche essere utilizzato per commutare qualsiasi relè a 12V.

Tensione di innesco:  > 13,15V
Tempo di ritardo di innesco: 25 secondi
Tensione di disinnesco: < 12,65V
Tempo di ritardo di disinnesco: 15 secondi

E' possibile modificare le suddette tensioni tensioni di commutazione tramite 2 jumper interni a saldare:
Chiudendo il JMP3 si aumenta di 0,2V la tensione di innesco
Chiudendo il JMP4 diminuisce di 0,2V la tensione di disinnesco

Funzionamento:
quando il dispositivo è connesso all'alimentazione il LED inizia a lampeggiare 1 volta al secondo
Quando la tensione di ingresso supera la soglia di innesco il relé commuta (dopo 25secondi) e il led resta acceso fisso per indicare che il relé interno è chiuso: in questo stato sul PIN 3 trovo la stessa tensione del PIN 2

Quando la tensione scende sotto la tensione di disinnesco il led comincia a lampeggiare 1 volta al secondo e terminati di 15 secondi di ritardo per il disinnesco il relé si apre, il led si spegne e sul PIN 3 non è presente più tensione
