Power Switch è un deviatore automatico che permette la gestione separata di due batterie di servizio. All’aumentare dei consumi elettrici all’interno dei Camper, cresce la necessità di avere quantità di energia disponibile sempre maggiori. Questa esigenza può rendere necessaria l’adozione di una seconda batteria di servizio, che possa garantire quindi più autonomia, ma che non può essere montata in parallelo se esse non sono gemelle (ossia identiche quanto tecnologia, amperaggio, marca e lotto di produzione).

Il Power Switch, permette di gestire razionalmente le due batterie, anche di diversa tipologia e capacità, migliorandone l’efficienza complessiva e preservando l’integrità. Il dispositivo è dotato di un microcontrollore che effettua una lettura costante dello stato delle batterie e dei valori di tensione e corrente in ingresso e in uscita.

Power Switch, seguendo un algoritmo studiato appositamente per ottimizzare il rendimento energetico dell’impianto, è in grado di stabilire quale dei due relè bistabili va attivato in modo da far lavorare alternativamente o congiuntamente le due batterie.

Il Power Switch è anche il salva batterie intelligente, perchè evita la scarica eccessiva, azionando un sistema che disattiva le batterie prima che queste si scarichino al di sotto del limite consentito. Inoltre il sistema è dotato di un telecomando che permette di gestire le batterie in modo automatico o manuale a seconda delle esigenze dell’utente e di disattivarle dall’impianto durante il periodo di rimessaggio.

Ricorda che, senza il Power Switch, due batterie non possono mai essere collegate in parallelo se non sono identiche per tecnologia, amperaggio, marca.
